AirCare 365 — California Home Air Monitoring

AirCare 365 FAQ

Pricing, Tests & Insurance — Answered.

Pricing

How much does AirCare 365 cost?+

AirCheck, a one-time visit, is $595 or $520 when you book online. The AirCare 365 plan is $950 a year and includes 2 visits. Premium is $1,695 a year and includes 4 visits. Prices are the same across California.

Do I pay anything when I book?+

No. You save a card and pay $0 today. The card is charged only when a visit happens.

How are plan visits charged?+

Pay-at-visit plans charge one visit at a time: $437.50 per AirCare 365 visit and $405 per Premium visit. You can also choose to pay the year up front.

Can I stop future visits?+

Yes. Future visits on a pay-at-visit plan can be stopped from your account, so there's no long commitment.

Are there extra charges?+

Only if you agree to them. Add-ons like extra samples, VOC or allergen testing are always priced before any extra work.

What the tests include

What happens during a visit?+

A trained technician does a visual walk-through, takes room-by-room humidity and temperature readings, checks moisture on walls, floors and cabinets, uses thermal imaging to spot cool damp areas, and collects mold air samples indoors with an outdoor comparison.

Who analyzes the samples?+

Samples go to an independent laboratory. Results usually arrive within a few business days.

What do I get afterward?+

A clear digital report with readings, photos, lab results and practical next steps, saved to your Home Air Health Record online.

Do you test for asbestos?+

Asbestos sampling is not part of a standard visit. It can be arranged separately when needed and is priced before any work.

Will you tell me my home is safe or mold free?+

No test can prove that. We report what was observed and measured at the time of the visit. For health questions, please talk with a medical professional.

Insurance

Is testing covered by my insurance?+

It depends on your policy. Some homeowner or renter policies may cover testing tied to a covered water loss, and many don't. Please check with your insurer before booking.

Do you bill insurance directly?+

No. You pay us directly and receive an itemized receipt and your report, which you can submit to your insurer if you choose.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds?+

Home testing usually isn't an eligible medical expense. Check with your plan administrator.

Booking & service

Where do you work?+

We book visits in all nine Bay Area counties today. Other California regions can join the waitlist.

How long does a visit take?+

Most homes take about 1.5 to 3 hours.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?+

Please let us know at least 48 hours before your visit. Details are in our Terms.

Do you do mold removal?+

No. We inspect and test. That keeps our advice independent.
