Bay Area Mold Testing Questions.
How much does mold testing cost in the Bay Area?+
An AirCheck is $595 and includes a visual inspection, moisture, humidity and thermal readings, included air sampling, independent laboratory analysis and a digital report. Ongoing AirCare 365 monitoring is $950 per year for two visits, and Premium is $1,695 per year for four visits.
How long does a visit take?+
Most homes take about 1.5 to 3 hours on site, depending on size, access and how many samples are collected.
How fast are lab results?+
Laboratory analysis usually takes a few business days. Your digital report is delivered once results are in.
Are DIY mold test kits accurate?+
Most kits are open settle plates, and since spores exist in nearly all air they almost always grow something. Professional sampling measures a known air volume, compares it to an outdoor control and includes an inspector's moisture assessment.
Do you do mold removal?+
No. AirCare 365 inspects, tests and documents conditions. We don't perform remediation, so our findings aren't tied to selling removal work.

Can testing tell me my home is safe or mold free?+
No test can prove that. We report what was observed and measured at the time of the visit so you can make informed decisions. For health questions, please consult a medical professional.
Is indoor air quality testing included?+
Every visit includes humidity and temperature readings and mold air sampling. VOC, allergen and particulate testing can be added, with pricing confirmed before any extra work.
