Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC)
Perform asbestos surveys and bulk sampling for homeowners planning renovations or selling a home. You work under your own active California CAC certification.
What you'll do
- Conduct pre-renovation and pre-sale asbestos surveys
- Collect bulk samples and submit to an accredited laboratory
- Prepare survey reports under your CAC certification
- Coordinate with CSSTs where applicable
Requirements
- Active California Certified Asbestos Consultant (Cal/OSHA DOSH) certification
- Current AHERA building inspector training
- Own general liability insurance
- Reliable vehicle
Nice to have
- Professional liability insurance
- Residential survey experience
- Lead inspector certification
